Cambodia
Cambodia is a work inspired by my unforgettable trip to Cambodia, specifically to Angkor Wat. This place captivated me with its magic. I wandered among the stones adorned with intricate carvings and designs, feeling as if the stones themselves were speaking to me. The incredible atmosphere made me sense a connection to something larger and deeper. This journey inspired me to create this ornament, which may not depict anything specific, but for me, it represents doors opening to the past or future, behind which lies something powerful, bright, and vibrant.
The piece is executed on thick black paper measuring 20 by 20 cm, using markers of various colors. This technique creates a contrasting and expressive image that reflects the richness of the feelings and emotions evoked by my memories of Cambodia. /2023
Size: 20 × 22 cm
Materials: Canvas, Markers, Acrylic
The artwork is unframed
