Ekaterina Babicheva is a Russian visual artist currently based in Singapore. Before relocating there, she lived in Siberia, Moscow, and Dubai—experiences that expanded her perspective and continue to inform her visual language.
She works primarily with markers on canvas and paper, combining graphic lines with painterly materials such as acrylic, tempera, and textured grounds. Her process is intuitive and emotionally driven, rooted in personal impressions, memories, and quiet observations of everyday life. Through rhythm, color, and spatial composition, she creates visual narratives that explore internal states, moods, and semi-abstract environments.
Her visual style balances between recognizability and open interpretation—inviting viewers into subtle, emotional dialogue with each work.
Since 2018, Ekaterina has participated in several group exhibitions in Moscow. Her paintings are held in private collections in Russia, Singapore, and internationally. She is currently expanding her practice through collective and community-oriented projects that center on dialogue, imagination, and shared visual storytelling.
