This diptych is my memory of the sea on the island of Samui.
The horizon separates sky and water, yet the lines of the landscape flow as one — like breath, like the rhythm of the tide. In the first panel, the sun rises behind the mountains, filling the space with soft light, awakening, hope. In the second — silence and stillness, as if the day has already been lived, and everything returns inward.
The waves, the textures, the contours — they speak not only of a place, but of a state of being. I looked at the sea, and in that gaze was everything: gratitude, presence, and that rare feeling of simply being.
